He was only a substitute and it’s the U21’s. For PSR purposes we nominally paid £20million for the goalkeeper and received £15million for Anderson but assuming this goalkeeper contract was a 5-year contract we could put £31million on the income side.
He looks good in that tournament but think a lot of it is that hes physically above a lot of the other midfielders for England and other teams so stands out a lot more. He looks like a 24/25 year old playing against 18 year olds. Think his experience is very telling and making him one of the standouts so far.
Back to back Euros champions! There is a good crop of young talent coming through. Hopefully MacAtee and Elliot are on our radar this summer both of them are quality. Nice to see Tino pick up a second medal of the season and former youth player Anderson do well!
Mr Pedro having a rather good start for the cockney cnuts against his old club Fluminense. 2 belters within the first hour before being subbed.
Was really hopeful we'd get him... I watched him quite a bit and it was clear that he was a top player. The people that didn't want him don't watch players they look only at a specific stat and draw big conclusions.
Someone's been as lost as Trev recently How is it possible to have over 20k posts over there n all?????
I like the lad and wanted him but he's not happy to come in as second choice and to be honest it could be a blessing in disguise if he's a problem in the dressing room, fighting team mates and arguing with the gaffer. The goals he scored last night, while good, were against Fluminese's 44 year old keeper and he'd scored 54 goals in European club football since 2019/20 before yesterday and 18 of those were penalties.
Not least of all because they'll have had basically no break before starting next season. They've had a ridiculously easy draw in this stupid tournament as well
I'm sure their 97 man squad can cope with a few extra games.* * I may have exaggerated numbers by 2 or 3 players just for effect
