I'm not so sure Sadiki is a 6, much better at being aggressive and covering ground higher up. Think it's Le Fee and Diarra with Sadiki and Rigg for the 8 positions, then Neil and another arrival in the 6

 

Maybe Lauriente pushing to leave could get Sassuolo to lower the price

 

He has 1 year left in his deal, they will get nowhere near that fee

 

agreed but there's no burning platform with 7 weeks of the window left.

 

I think the Lauriente will end up moving on to somewhere, have a feeling we will negotiate them down

 

Depends if we want to stick a deal out that long, we will move on quick if it's not going anywhere based off what we have seen so far imo

Yeah it’s about having what we consider our minimum to start the season. I think we need a centre half as a priority - and if we’re doing a keeper it really needs to be done before the first game too. Everything else I think we could live with, given what we’ve already done in my view.

Sounds like an agent hustle to me with the ‘refusal to sign’ comment

 

it lines up with the report from yesterday that said they have warned us it would be an expesnive deal mind

 

Yeah with sassuolo news they just post 20 articles a day based on rumours.

Every other report about mikautadze that included a price suggested significantly less than 40.

 

Guess we'll see, just struggle to see the dynamics of Sadiki, Le Fee and Diarra in midfield. Feel like we need a physical presence there

 

I mean yeah they're just piggybacking off that, but I didn't really trust that either.
