When things aren't going well it's Mitchell and pif and when anything goes well it's the messiah. You're right though because you've added in Co, although I'd say pif and Co.
Tottenham, Newcastle and Napoli are all monitoring England midfielder Jack Grealish after Manchester City set an asking price of £40m for the 29-year-old. (Sun), external Newcastle United remain hopeful of winning the race to sign Marc Guehi, 24, with the club looking to bolster their squad with the addition of the England and Crystal Palace centre-back. (GiveMeSport) Newcastle have also held fresh talks with Dominic Calvert-Lewin, 28, with manager Eddie Howe a long-term admirer of the England striker who left Everton after his contract expired last month and has interest from Manchester United. Jeez get with the script mate I said this 2 days ago. Apart from he changed agents midway through the deal rather than it being agents fees per se .
Neave is an u21 (who doesn’t need registering) and didn’t play so not sure we can include him. We should replace Wilson no doubt, but 3 will be the most we register in the senior squad.
Be interesting to know why? If he thought the agents were asking to much and ditched them to force through the move he be off to a good start at life on Tyneside.
I think its cutting yer cloth accordingly, we're clubs world's apart on ambitions atm, last time we were up we bought foreign ****e that thought they were better than than they were. He's not a player for a club vying for CL each season but for a club with a season ambition of getting 17th plus he's probably ideal, got the experience non of ours have atm. Tbh, never understood the dislike of him from your fanbase you obviously see more of him than me, but always looks a steady 7+ player each game to me.
I don't think any fans hate him as such, just that he's not as good as some hyped him up to be (mostly because he's a local lad so some of our fans got a bit over excited). He gives his all every game, but sometimes he just looks ineffective. He gets dispossessed and goes over very easily for a big lad. But he's also bagged us some vital goals here and there and as I say, in terms if workrate you can't fault him. He has a great team ethic and a good squad player. Anyway, I hope you boys stay up this time. At least Leeds is a proper club with tradition and a loyal fanbase. Should be in the PL.
It's hard to get that upset about signing DCL to be fair, if we did sign him we obviously find the wages fine and he's a body to come on and save Isak some minutes
Good luck to Sean, lad his given his best, but this is the right time: The anticipated departure of Sean Longstaff from SJP drew nearer on Monday with news of a further bid for the midfielder from Premier League newcomers Leeds United. An improved offer of £12m for the 27 year-old looks set to end his stay on Tyneside, with personal terms now said to be agreed. Longstaff is now into the final 12 months of his contract, having made 214 league and cup appearances since 2018, scoring 16 times. 25 Premier League outings last season included just eight starts, the last of which came at Brentford in December.
Yeah Longstaff's a great lad, I remember him standing up and going to bat for Joelinton in a post match interview... He'll be a good signing for Leeds as we've seen from recent promotion teams mistakes trying to be too fancy playing out from the back with inexperienced young squads, players like Longstaff are neat & tidy on the ball with a good passing range and ability to press and get from box to box every match which will be invaluable to helping Leeds have a good season. 12mil is dirt cheap for an experienced English Prem midfielder going into his prime years these days.
