Er, yes. Funnily enough I can hang **** on the opposition and cop it back without needing to refer to their race, religion, sexual orientation or any other descriminatory factor. I usually just call them slow ****s as I sprint off past them or slate them for a **** touch.
I once got sent off while playing for uni for headbutting somebody that called me a ****ing f*****. Just so happened he wasn't an opposition player but was in fact our left back and it wasn't the first time he'd used homophobic slurs towards his team mates (I was the only non-straight player AFAIK). He was a worm but at least he apologised. I stopped playing for the team before that and went to Oadby Town instead.
I do find it a bit odd that they seem to find money to pay both Villa and Man City when pushed, and have not paid, which in football related term are relatively small amounts to local suppliers. It's as if the instruction is not to pay until absolutely necessary. Has this been the company policy? I do know companies that operate such ways, they pay in the end, but not until they are pressurized.
