You're the one following the government line, it just happens to be the Russian government. There are far better opposing views of the British government than that obvious traitor. The idea that my views are extreme is laughable, by the way. Attempting to frame them as an extreme establishment position is just silly.
On the subject of government lines, Lisa Nandy is demanding to know why the BBC didn't sack anybody over that documentary which unwittingly depicted Palestinians as human beings and not figures on a spreadsheet
As I haven't expressed a view it is extreme to suggest I am following the Russian government. It is also extreme to describe someone who is calling for free speech as the voice of Putin. I don't think free speech is one of Putin's goals. Your views echo British establishment views both on Scottish independence and their views on free speech. In both cases the British establishment hold extreme views. Just to be clear, I do not support the invasion of Ukraine by Russia however I do not see NATO as innocent either. They had the opportunity to welcome Russia into NATO in the 90s. If that had been a Russian bluf NATO could have called it and gained the high ground. They didn't. Now Starmer's solution to growth is to manufacture weapons and buy 12 submarines. While all the time trying to ramp up fears about war in Europe. In this right wing environment it is easy for voices of the left to be cast as extreme especially when there are limited opportunities for them to be heard on MSM.
...aaaaaaaaaaaaand Deform just lost another MP, with James McMurdock resigning the whip after media enquiries into his business activities during the pandemic This is the one who has an assault conviction for beating up his ex-girlfriend, by the way Hmm, I wonder if the BBC will give rolling coverage to this...?
I read Trump and Putkin had a phone chat for an hour. Are they thinking of making Britain part of USA?....or murdering their opposing parties?
I consider it more akin to "small kids" (the EU) "talking sh*t" to a bigger kid (Russia) while standing behind the back of a really big kid (the USA) .
Well I guess we know what Lisa Nandy will be up to Monday morning... please log in to view this image
You've expressed a view by posting it and then dodging the question. You've followed it up by expressing a view with this comment. I don't know if you've followed Clare Daly at all, but she's well known for her Russian bullshit. She even protested the conviction of a Russian spy in Lithuania alongside a local MEP. Said MEP was later found to be another Russian spy going back to at least 2004. She has absolutely no interest in free speech. I've said nothing about free speech and little about Scotch Brexit, so calling me an extremist is silly. Just because I disagree with your fringe views, doesn't make me a loony. You do go on to echo Russian propaganda about Ukraine and NATO though, so I'm not surprised. Russia made no attempt to join in the 90s. Even if they had, Putin would've scuppered it in the 2000s. There's one aggressor here and it's clear to everyone who that is. I'm sure that even among Scottish nationalists being outside of both NATO and the EU looks unpalatable right now.
Unfortunately, speaking from this side of the Irish Sea, this is 100% correct. She is a dreadful individual. It just so happens that for once her opinions are more than palatable. Knowing her though, that raises the question what are her motivations?
Amazing how the BBC forgot to mention this at any point in their coverage of the Texas flash flood... please log in to view this image
The video description tells most of it, in my opinion. "In this explosive speech, Daly defends her past remarks that the war in Ukraine is a “NATO proxy war” and that EU sanctions are punishing European citizens more than Russia." Literally just Russian talking points. The parent comments on there also have zero dissent. One of the other people in the video is Fidias Panayiotou, a Cypriot MEP. He's a social media influencer who has also been accused of being a Russian stooge. He voted against an EU motion to return Ukrainian children abducted by Russia. He then visited Moscow with some other pro-Kremlin politicians. Some of the kids want to be kidnapped? **** off. Cyprus is absolutely awash with Russian money, unfortunately. Quite a bit of it has been invested in the Turkish controlled part, rather ironically.
