Last I heard was him going to Man U, which sounds more plausible. Would get more games there too with the likes of Zirkzee and Hojlund hardly irreplaceable.

Wilson out Lewin on makes perfect sense and doesn't mean we won't sign another striker. If anything it allows Newcastle to do just that(get two) , but sadly large parts of the fanbase don't understand the basics.

 

You're familiar with Newcastle's recent record, mate? If DCL arrives that's it for attacking options. We'll push for Elanga still but I can well see Marianakis playing us for absolute fools as Parish did last year.

I don't know when it's going to sink in that the only players of note we can sign will be from the continent, because we won't pay top dollar and other clubs enjoy taking the piss.
