Need a side view to judge a good lasagna?

 

I could eat the garlic bread lol

Is that a tomato on the side, must have been a bloody big tomato looking at that slice?

 

My first thought was "whats with the carrot on the side of the plate" but yeah tomato sounds more likely

A marzano mate - can now get them at Waitrose - the Italians rate them as the best - more flesh less seeds ...really good

 

Ah right, just googled them, like an oversized plum tomato, makes sense now.

 

We use them as well, very tasty

 

Had a hell of a weekend BBQ'ing and Pizza'ing - sick of it by Sunday to be honest! Ate and drank some good stuff though.

Cheers mate. Was excellent. Took a little video of the finished shoulder getting smushed up but can't upload it. Slow smoked then wrapped for 20 hours. Was a joy. Arteries needing a healthier week.

 

That Coonawarra is a nice drop

 

It is mate. The Villa Maria Cab/Merlot was the best of the bunch to be fair. Some good wines among that lot. The Tabali Carmenere I've had a few times. Highly recommended.

 

Oreo baked into a cookie. My son's girlfriend likes messing about with baking.

 

I've had a Villa Maria sauvignon blanc, which was very nice.
