Left wing market isn’t that strong atm and both Bayern and Barca seem to be wanting one - not sure why Barca as they’ve had raphina doing great there albeit is left footed so maybe want a right footed player there. Bayern also now lost musiala for months so even more desperate. We on other hand already have gakpo as first choice Lw and have Wirtz who can play there as well so while keeping diaz to play CF is good, if we sell for big money and use that for a replacement CF (especially with Jota sadly no longer being with us) then decent option

Life goes on. Business goes on. If Diaz has been a long term target, then you’d expect them to engage about him. Of course, the situation is super sensitive to all of us but we will, at some point, have to accept that players need to come and go and even that Jota will need to be replaced, as sad as it may be. I do hope that the club create a permanent memory of Jota.
