No, you're right (to an extent), but it's still important for any family in this situation to not have to worry about money. It just is. If someone is expected to die due to a long illness or whatever, then preparations can be made (and should be) so that even the dying person takes comfort knowing that their loved ones have one less thing to worry about. Sudden death can be hugely overwhelming and bewildering, though. And those grieving, especially a mother worried about her three kids, need to know that there is one thing they don't need to worry about. She'll have enough on her mind now, and for a long time to come, without having to worry about money. That should be a blessing. I presume the kids are being educated in England, where they now live. I hope she remains on Merseyside, but she may decide to go back to Portugal to be in a family unit. Who knows? Just hope she knows that money is one less thing to worry about, and also that the club, the players, and the wider community of Merseyside will support her.
I sincerely doubt she will go back to Merseyside. The eldest is a baby at 4 The club cam help here with the property issues and whatever she needs but they will go home to family, I have no doubt.
Family will have the best support available from a professional level in terms of organising everything for them to make things as easy as possibly can do. Id imagine you’re right that if was probably in their shoes would want to go back home country and be with family on assumption they aren’t in England. Can’t imagine going back and living in what was the family home knowing partner is never going to be there, all those memories of them being and doing things in every single room. Must be heartbreaking for anyone who loses a partner.
Taken me a while to respond to this because (like most) i am shocked. Diogo always came across as a genuinly nice person and was obviously good at his job. I feel deeply for his family and also for supporters like those on this board, As a person who's job means a large part of his life is driving it hits home how fragile (and out of our hands) life is. I hope my family never have to go through this agony and wish the best for Diogo's family.
So tragic. It's no age at all and for the family to lose both of them at once must just be unimaginable. My condolences to all Liverpool fans and my thoughts are with his poor family and close friends. They must be heartbroken. It's the technique that particular mural artist always uses. He did the latest VVD one and used the same method, different words obviously. Something to do with using marks or shapes first to get the points he needs to lay the picture on top. He uses words instead of random marks.
