I’m from Sunderland but live in Aberdeen, have done for 35 years now. Where you thinking of moving to?
Born in Sunderland also but moved to Fife with being in the RAF. Settled up here when I left settling in Crail. We are thinking of moving up to Newtonmore next year.
That’s a really nice area. You’ll be spoilt for choice for places to go walking and the scenery is amazing.
With all due respect, this is a Sunderland transfer page. If you want a love in with the Highlands can you make your own thread so i don't need to see it
And it's not just about buying players. You need numbers, and all of that lot are good enough to contribute. A promoted team, by simple definition will have most of it's players who could be described as " not good enough". But for an absolute certainty, if you were to get rid of them all you fail. It's not sentimental. It's common sense based on precedent .
On O9, I think he has a role from the bench. However a little left field, why not make him both club captain (which he already is) and U21 captain, playing as an over aged player. His attitude and game craft will be a massive influence on the kids coming through.
Totally agree, but for someone like O’Nien I’d make an exception. When we were in League One, he couldn’t wait to join us and drove himself up with his belongings. Never seen him give less than 100% and you can tell he absolutely adores being here. An excellent ambassador for the club and all the players seem to love him. The look on his face at the end of the play off final just sums him up. Every time I thought he simply wasn’t good enough, he just seemed to up his game and prove me wrong. He may not get to play many games going forward, but you need people with his enthusiasm around the club and hope it rubs off on the others. I’d love him to get the chance and say that he made it from the bottom right up to the Premier League, and if he decides it’s time to move on for more game time, he’ll go with my thanks.
I heard he could be brown, he could be blue, he could be violet sky He could be hurtful, he could be purple, he could be anything you like
He could be brown, he could be blue, he could be violet sky He could be hurtful, he could be purple, he could be anything you like Gotta be green, gotta be mean, gotta be everything more Why don't you like me, why don't you like me? Why don't you walk out the door? basically, he tried to be like Grace Kelly
Great signings so far. Transfer record broken on le fee then broken again. Glad to see Ndong name gone from record signing and the owner has intent to keep the team up. Not afraid of relegation, even before any new additions, this team is full of 'rise to the occasion' players who are up for higher challenge.
Quite. Luke will help next season, I have no doubt about that. A promoted team needs spirit above all else to stand a chance and no player embodies the fiery spirit of this team more than him. We are getting good quality help, and it could be that these new lads play more than a good few who have played a lot this season. Champion. But most of this seasons regulars will be needed at times, and I expect more than one of them to really rise to the occasion. One of those could well be Luke. Losing him right now would be like having the red cells taken out of your blood.
Yep. He has the tools. But he really has to start stringing games together. Time moves on, and if the lad can't do this, time will pass him. Really hope he can get going. He has been ridiculously unlucky. There's a hell of a player in there.
