We are signing the exact kind of players Brighton and Bournemouth have over last couple years and both are competing for European spots.
Definitely should be in for that Louie Barrrtie from villa every time I've seen him play he's ran the show
No ta. I'm not keeping grounded, and I am getting carried away. Life as a Sunderland supporter is mostly chod so take any chance to get happy or excited. I'm not 5 so disappointment is water off a ducks back, and neither my optimism or anyone's doom mongering will affect the outcome of next season, so take any opportunity to feel happy about it. To misquote an orange nob, deam baby, dream!
Theyre offering loads of dodgy deals with no fees up front to get deals done, thought that was one of them?
oh maybe. All I’d heard was the reason for the embargo was because they hadn’t paid Villa for his loan originally and Villa are pissed off with them so pulled the deal
Oh lol probably not then, the frigan offer of an 18month loan to avoid embargo with a guaranteed 7m is so dodgy
we are getting to the team of 1999-2000 and they were great days ! can we better them ? 7th was fantastic but this 2025.
Love your optimism Monty but let’s not get ahead of ourselves yet. I’m as excited as anyone with the links and the signings but also like many I’ll be happy to make sure we avoid relegation.
Sunderland are ready to move for Wolves keeper Sam Johnstone to fight with Anthony Patterson for a game. The Black Cats have just brought in keeper coach Neil Cutler, as we revealed, and he is a huge fan of experienced Johnstone. Cutler worked with Johnstone at Aston Villa and Wolves and would welcome a third chance at the Stadium of Light. Sunderland have been looking for expensive keepers in Europe but may look at a relative bargain with Wolves. The move may happen as a loan because Johnstone still has a couple of years on a contract at Wolves.
Cheers mate! Solid keeper but not as exciting as the Petrovic link I’m going to ignore that he broke the keeper coach and Diarra news and claim Nixon knows nout cos that suits my agenda
