Cresswell would suit me down to the ground. He was excellent in the Euros, elite. Compares very favourably to the other highly rated CBs on display. His all action body on the line approach would absolutely be loved by us. He would be class.

Grealish. I have for a few weeks thought he may well be on our radar. I think we do really need to bring in English players and of course they cost. He is right up our street - a maverick but with unreal talent. He puts a shift in as well. He would be a complete hero at our club. I think Jack is a lad who wants to be loved. I see a player who thrives off love and adoration. I also see a lad who just wants to play football and enjoy it. It could be the perfect match. I really do think we have the sort of smart men who would know how to make this sort of deal possible for us. Just imagine we do it, why not. Complete other level for us. I would instantly be confident of not just staying up but pushing up toward 12th.

Whilst agreeing with you it might depend on what he wants. I would imagine he is already a millionaire. Does he want to play nearly every game. I believe he would get that here. I also think the bloke would be worshipped here. Might count for something.

 

I give more credence to lads like you and him who share info, than I do internet journos. Just feels like it is info coming from a 'mate' who you know has clear contacts at the club and who wouldnt post it for clicks and wouldnt want fellow supporters getting hopes up.

 

It is a world cup year. Lads on the fringes need to play and show what they can do.

Do think Grealish is highly unlikely, although he's got mates up here already so they could twist his arm.
