I'll probably do the Ferriby one, especially if it's a nice evening. Not fussed about Stockport or Sunderland though. Prefer it when we play a foreign team, something a bit different.
I sent my mate that tweet and he confirmed it's bollocks. The goals were on 15 and 85 minutes, and as I'd have thought, you can't actually see in unless you're in one of those houses that looks down over the ground.
That's my feeling. It's been a really miserable few years when you look at our results and performances over a period of time. The 23/24 season was a brief high point but it was still full of frustration as we all remember and only really gave us something exciting to get behind in the last home game before we ultimately fell short a week later and then it's been back to frustration and disappointment ever since. And over that time it seems like whenever we've had a friendly or a cup game against a crap team which you'd think would be an opportunity to finally score some goals and a break from the usual slog, even that has still been rubbish. It's always a poor result and/or performance that we have to comfort ourselves by remembering that it wasn't a big game, we rotated the team etc etc. But you'd think from time to time it would be our opposition that doesn't turn up and we'd have the odd good game in one of these.
it will be a normal thing without being able to bring in decent reinforcements no goalscorers in our **** team
I'm wondering that too, a strange situation. I think it would be really harsh to send them back to their old clubs, especially in the case of Laalaoui (I say that becuase Puerta would probably welcome it ). Seems a bit unethical to me, You can't retrospectivly mess about with peoples lives like that. I get we created the problem and the EFL have strict rules, but surely there would be some discretion/common sense applied here, provided the club show they have/can make the payments of course.
I don't know. I asked my mate but he's not a City fan and doesn't know all our players so he wasn't sure himself.
