Lol. Same thing he did in Turkey last year when he made out there was a huge conspiracy against Fenerbahçe.
That's the Turkish football way these days. Both sides are convinced that the authorities favour the other and they outright accuse each other of matchfixing and bribing the officials. It's ridiculous.
“Acun hopes that it gets reduced to a one window ban and he's bullish about getting signings done this summer.” If he thinks he’s not done anything wrong then why does he hope it’s only reduced to a one-window fee restriction instead of wiped out completely or a suspended sentence like Oxford? He just talks so much ****e. Front and centre to take credit for the ‘positives’ but blames everyone else but himself when **** hits the fan.
Well we have, if this most recent update is to be believed, by technicality broken a rule but not maliciously. K Maguire said the EFL won’t want to lift this and will want to enforce their rules so a complete overturning is extremely unlikely, no matter how minor the contravention. This is turning into a politics level discussion. Mike Graham will start wading in with questions soon.
Tbf, the above is at least one thing I can agree with you on. I don't understand that either. Maybe he does actually hope to get it overturned altogether. Or maybe he accepts that, even though Villa and City were both fine with the situation, they have unwittingly broke the rules, so realises that's just how it is? Hopefully we find out more in the next few days when he does these interviews.
Sergej just needs to have a pint at the Hilton and relax. Has he not got the memo that everything is okay? On a serious note, even if the fee restriction is reduced to just this summer, Acun has ****ed Jakirović even harder then he did Walter last summer.
What was the final score? Are the water bottles okay? Did Shelvey run more than 10 yards in any direction? We need answers.
I posted on the other thread, we lost 2-0 with a goal in each half. One from a corner and one from a long ball.
It read like utter bollocks at first sight. Hopefully a good exercise and no injuries - score/result is pretty meaningless at this stage.
I'm assuming Villa must have reported us to the EFL for non payment. If that is the case how can we have this great relationship with them ?
that’s yet another element to this that makes no sense at all….especially when you factor in that they also owe us money for Philly. It’s all just weird as ****kk
That's what these things are for - I remember a few years ago, after us losing to some minor team in a pre-season kickabout quite a few were approaching meltdown; I did remind them that in our promotion season of 2008 we lost to Winterton Town before that season started!
