Second half had been harder to judge, against the wind, no Chair who was creative in the first, oh and Stevenage not bothering attacking at all doesn’t help. You can see Vale has a touch of class about him.
Just based on this game: yes, Vale seems to have talent but his decision making today wasn't always very good. Based on the few times I'd seen Sutton, I'm not that excited about him. However, he's young and we shall see!
Very impressive (considering opposition and time of the year) from a number of players. Adamson, Mbengey and Vale stood out in the second half. Completely impossible to attempt to predict the best starting eleven which is obviously brilliant.
hmmm box to box type mid? started more defensive but ended up being much more attacking, might have something to do with Stevenage not bothering attacking.
Its always good to perform well in friendlies but it's all about getting minutes in a competitive environment.
Good selection of players there and seems better than past seasons to be honest...a training kickabout though. I for one would love to see Richards kick on, all relative I know but he seemed to be putting in the effort
