Think Neil’s head been turned by offers from aboard… Goes overseas plays well chance he’ll get in the England squad
I know there was a German team really interested in him in January If he goes he will go with my best wishes, just hope he stays He will be a big loss on and off the pitch If he goes i think we should bring Henderson in as a 6th option in CM
Fair play like different lifestyle, might never get the chance again, good luck to him IF he opts to go
Aye was saying this to my dad earlier, similar to Gilmour and Mctominay in Italy who are treated like kings over there.
I think he wants a new challenge. Could be intimidated by the new centre mid signings too. Maybe he’s been told he will have to fight for his place and decided he wants to go somewhere he is guaranteed to start. Could be anything
Maybe he fancies a new challenge and thinks he couldn't leave on a bigger high. I think he did say in league 1, he wanted to get us back to the prem. Never really mentioned playing for SAFC in the prem. In all fairness he knows more than most how quickly things / fans can turn if hes not playing well. Not a criticism of us as fans, but I think most will agree. Maybe doesn't fancy it turning sour. Just some thoughts though no incite. I'd love him to stay though, I think he’s class. Mentioned it before but I bet me mate £200 at the end of the 16th place season he'd play in the prem in the next few years, so I'm hoping he stays for at least 1 game
roma, lazio and Napoli all interested. A chance to play in Europe too… Mad not too and one hell of profit sad to see him leave(if he does go) but happy for what he has done, helped his boyhood club go from L1 to the PL in 4 years
I don't think he will be intimated but I did hear from someone a few weeks ago that he was wanting a new challenge. No mention of what that challenge was A football career is short so he's got to do what he thinks is the best for him
last year his agent told the club that no matter what was offered neil would like to move on for a new challenge, could the prem be that? , well soon find out, but cirkin will stay
That was because it was extremely likely it was championship. Now it's not. They were meant to be closer to a deal , there or there abouts when the season ended.
Would be disappointed if Neil has decided to leave but would back our recruitment to replace him, albeit we’d miss having the local lad.
