I was really happy when we first signed Slimane as he seemed to add something extra to the midfield in his first few games, looked solid with a good eye for a pass, but after his injury/signing the permanent deal he never seemed to settle back into a rhythm again. Mind you the same could be said about Nunez and Marcondes.
With a value of €2m in Transfermarkt perhaps he could be another one on a loan with option to buy for a relatively low fee if he succeeds
One for the future: "Norwich City are closing in on the signing of Derry City youngster Glenn McCourt as they continue to add to their youth ranks this summer. The teenager, nephew of former Celtic and Northern Ireland international Paddy, is poised to join the Canaries development squad after a pursuit that saw Norwich beat off competition to land the highly rated midfielder." https://www.pinkun.com/sport/norwic...h-city-closing-derry-youngster-glenn-mccourt/
He seems a very level headed young man. He looks more mature than 17 in the photo on pink'un news site.
New striker alert: According to a Danish source "Norwich City are interested in signing Brøndby forward Mathias Kvistgaarden." No idea about how reliable this might be. Could be his agent or Brøndby seeking to force a deal. Kvistgaarden looks good on paper, but £11m would be a huge gamble on our part. Obviously it would only happen if Josh leaves. https://footballleagueworld.co.uk/n...rgent-replacement-amid-ligue-one-competition/
He can also play off the left or right. I was wondering whether he could be a Sainz replacement. Seems to be good with both feet
Reading between the lines, he may be a wide AM who can also play as a striker. The Pinkun has picked it up now and says we're interested, but they'll probably cancel that tomorrow, lol.
Not sure you are right there Rick. He could be a straight replacement, and I think, upgrade, for Sainz. Apparently he likes cutting,in from the left to attack the goal. Sound familiar? Hope Teemu puts in a good word for us at Bronby.,
