I hit 56 two years ago and it was like a switch being thrown, so many doctor and hospital visits. Two years on, I’m okay, still trying to figure out if you just get more paranoid about the nasty stuff whereas years ago you shrug it off. Hope you are okay mate, supporting Leeds isn’t good at the best of times for the old heart rate
I really hope you are ok bud, had a bit of the same myself in the last twelve months and I think you are only a pup?
45. Non drinker, non smoker, 15k steps a day, swim once a week, run twice a week and cycle the 12k to work and back when I can. 5 years ago ran a sub 3 hour marathon. 40 year MOT gave me less than 1% chance of heart problems. I never win the ****ing lottery do I? Lol. Im tip top apart from the heart stuff.
Other than a couple of biking accidents, I very rarely saw a doctor let alone a hospital, hit 58 and it seems I'm there so often nowadays
I've had my fair wack of crap..Had 2 heart attacks ...hip replacement... pulmonary embolism ...other than that I'm pretty well err knackered ...but still batting @ 72 not out, ain't no use thinking why me it's not going to change anything ...
It’s over-rated this health and fitness lark. Look at bielsa’s leeds. The players were fed lettuce and flogged like horses - most of them can hardly walk now. The great man himself ate McDonald’s every night, never broke sweat and the closest he came to injury was falling off his bucket.
