Read the locked depression thread on the SMB, only the last 5 or 6 pages.

Becs knows more about his multiple logins and attempts to get money from sympathetic posters, hey, I'll help anyone out, I started the SMB charity football games that ended up for Bradley Lowery, but a certain poster used that to line his own pockets.

I've went to posters house miles away to help sort out plumbing issues, fixed computers, give them lifts to the airport, picked them up from Barcelona airport and gave them a tour, and non of that was for financial reward, I did it being who I am. Just like Becs, just like many, many others who would help anyone out if needed.

It's the tiny majority that always spoil it for the rest, and this kid is one of them.

 

Well there is someone on this thread who has accused me of calling him at 4 in the morning at least 3 times " he knows its me" I dont even know his number

Interesting to note that it kicked off in that thread because Hetty highlighted the issue with the said poster. Exactly the same as she's just done announcing the problems the chops has.

That depression thread has been extremely useful to people on there. Life saving in some cases. I've helped people on it and I've found it helpful myself when I've been unwell. It boils my piss when Hetty uses it for stirring up crap.

I was never a member, but a long time viewer/lurker of RTG, but it was around that time that I started getting increasingly sick of it, with the sniping and the cliques. I lasted until the summer of 2020 before I got completely sick of it. It was around then that a mate of mine mentioned here and I started to view posts on here. A night and day difference, good debates, humour, information, just what RTG used to be. I rarely went back to RTG after that before joining here.

I think you can tell by looking at people's joining dates on here that a load joined up and moved across between late 2019 and early 2022. It all coincides with RTGs decline forcing good posters away, and it's still continuing. Unless something drastic happens, RTG is going to have a long, slow, painful decline.

 

I've never come across an account on rtg that's protected to an extent Hetty is...... literally dozens of posters have copped warnings and bans for calling it out...

Any bloke who pretends to be a lass on an internet forum is just plain creepy imo....
It's connected to the site in some way imo...

 

There'd be a lot less nonsense over there, it the bot disappeared back to from wherever it came from.

Hetty is a very strange one. The sheer volume of posts from one sole person cannot be correct, can it?

He/she really disrupts the harmony of the board for a very large amount of posters, yet for some reason it’s allowed to continue as if it’s been introduced to the board. Ignoring it isn’t an option either because they’re involved in everything.

Not creeping up your arse here Becs, but if lovely people like you are being hounded out, it only shows where the forum is going.

 

Does RTG get paid for external link clicks.....the bots sole purpose seems to be about posting links, driving traffic etc......in terms of actual opinion or engagement.....zero.

You have every right to defend yourself. But when all said and done this and the SMB are just internet message forums. Nobody really knows anyone. Not one person on here really knows me in real life and I don’t know them. I’m sure if I met some they would be nice decent people and others wouldn’t. Discretion is the better part of valour as they say so my advice for what it’s worth is to just ignore it and move on.

 

Was de Ruyter also yellow belly/custard belly or something along those lines? I recall being on quite good terms with them. Then when the Cuban bot/agitator came along (Emma Chisset) and I pointed out that they were posting exactly the same stuff on a Watford forum but as a male, that poster accused me of sexism and misogyny. When I then said everything I’ve done at work supporting and furthering equality for women I was called a liar and a blatant misogynist One of the very few posts I’ve reported and the mods eventually deleted it.

In the morning I got a PM apologising saying they couldn’t remember what they’d said (but somehow knew they’d been replying to me ).
