Just want to make clear you’re welcome on this board mate. I know vast majority of us have interest in Leeds outlook, as we gonna be battling together. I for one hope we both stay up and send Wolves and Brentford down with Burnley.
Cheers mate, you’ve an excellent transfer thread and I enjoy having a read although it’s virtually impossible to keep up with. A few Sunderland fans have visited our forum and as far as I’m concerned always welcome. All fans have an element that just enjoy the hatred, I just enjoy the debate and varied views Just to add, without that facial expression it’s always easier to come across the opposite to how it’s actually intended on a forum
I’ve dropped in a few times and always a welcoming board mate. Lots of parallels between the clubs, 2 cracking sets of fans, decades of underachievement. Closest thing to a brother club we have to me mate
As I said you're just guessing and have no idea how many enquiries Leeds have had. And Leeds didn't 'walk away' at all according to the Leeds press ... ... you made a bid and Sunderland stepped in before you had the chance to make another. BTW how is it possible to be 'genuinely happy we didn’t sign them' if you don't know who they are
I said the day that the fixture list came out that it looks more important than ever to do our business early. That opening 10 games is the easiest run of fixtures in the entire league. That's not to say they're easy for us, but if we don't target them as an opportunity to take points and get off to a good start, we could find ourselves in trouble early. I'm thrilled we're being decisive and quick.
Such a bad attitude this is what the Strasbourg Club president had to say about him. “Beyond the player, he is a humble and endearing young man whom we have seen grow and flourish within the club. Habib is a child of the club and seeing him wear the captain's armband this season brought us a lot of emotion. Habib also embodies the success of our training model; his career is a strong symbol for our club, for our young players and for our region.”
If we’d lost him to a foreign team or a Chelsea it would matter not, we lost him to a newly promoted team and it might come down to us or you who stays up. Notice I had to Google who he was, we have signed three players, two are a gamble as they’ve had serious injuries, I’d prefer no more gambles, I want some wow factor now
Where did you get the info about Habib being a very bad influence and a troublemaker ... ... that seems to be the exact opposite of what the Club president is saying.
We were apparently in for him, the offer was refused we moved on. It’s hardly beaten to his signature when we no longer wanted him
It was claimed in 2023 that Patrick Vieira began to become ‘frustrated’ with Diarra’s attitude and told that to the teenager. During his second season with the club, Diarra was supposedly performing poorly in training and not giving his full focus in pre-season
