I personally find them faster and smoother than the Amazon stuff but it depends what they’re used for. The processor is better on the Pro and the remote is infinitely better than the ones you get with a stick or cube.
Does the biz for me and the software that enables me to watch anything for £80 a year. What were you looking to do?
Avoid Amazon products, they are intrusive and know what app you are using, they're trying to control the IPTV apps that are used on them. I've got an Onn stick, it controls the TV volume, source and on and off buttons, connected via WiFi. Also a Onn Box connected via WiFi or ethernet cable and a lot more powerful.
I’ve never used the ONN, how does the performance compare to a fire cube? The fire cube is a completely different animal to the fire stick. The Amazon fire cube has the same capability to control the TV via it’s remote and also has USB and network connections as well as HDMI input and ouputs. It is also very easy to disable data collection and privacy in the settings. I also have a Humax Aura box which I use to record free view stuff but that restricts the applications that you can load.
I have tried them all, Firebox was great, then new updates and security patches (Spying) slowed it down and stopped some apps from working. (I'm in Spain, so iPlayer etc is a must) I tried to reset the box but it didn't improve, I think the update was a flash EPROM update. Fire stick became to unreliable again with forced restrictions. My android boxes have been fine and Onn being the best so far. I have to use an IPTV for a lot of Sports, and SAFSEE has always been spot on. I read Amazon are working with authorities to help clamp down on IPTV content, especially the premier league. But, it's up to you. If it works fine in England, great.
No idea what you are all on about, I just have a firestick and its great, what are the benefits of these other devices?
Your fire stick will suffer soon as Amazon will be joining forces with the Premier League and other agencies to stop illegal streaming.
