    Tomorrow sees the start of the 2025/26 accounting year for the purposes of PSR, so hopefully there will be some actual transfer movement rather than these endless media rumours.

    That would be perfectly legal in this current climate. INEOS Group could also pay us £1bn for stadium name rights.

    It could happen, United seem to have a habit of copying our nefarious financial doings, even the stupid ones.
    Giving Pogba away to Juventus for free, then buying him back a couple of years later for £90m, then giving him back to Juventus AGAIN for free another few years later was straight from Chelsea's "idiots guide to football financials" playbook, right up there with buying a mediocre keeper for £72m, then selling him to your local rival for £5m a few years later.
