Next thing you know, he will be spending g £100m on two FB’s

the CB is a strange one, he looks a player. Maybe he wanted more starts?

    It's a new dawn mate

Where does elliot get games ahead of Salah, slobz or Wirtz?

And quansa was gone 1st day of last season when he was hooked at half time for not winning a single duel.

We've played the sustainability game for long enough, saved our doe and been sensible with it but Making stars takes time.

Buying ready made stars like wirtz is something I welcome, especially after winning the league.

Last Time we won the league city went out and bought a load of ready made players while we didn't and they won the league after that 4 times in a row...

    Food for thought

Yeah I get both sides of thinking but imo Elliott especially is a real talent and capable of coming in when Dom needs a rest or tactical when a bit of craft is needed. Wirtz can play false 9 and inverted left so there are options. He's 22 so has to realise he's not going to start yet but when he hits 24-25 he could be a great player for us he just needs to be used as a squad player right now, something that Slot is not good at and has to improve.

Swapping Quansah for Guehi it's just daft, there's only thing that might be an issue and that's off the field behaviour, has he done something that we don't know about?

Well yes he was 3rd choice and still young so should be starting more but Slot and squad rotation don't get on.

I agree on Harvey tbh mate I'd like us to keep him too, Ive been a huge fan of his since he 1st arrived but I just can't see where he gets game time and we have some gems in the academy like that kid we pinched of Chelsea ngmumo (spelling) that would be happy to play a bit part role much like elliot this season under slot.

But his stock is the highest it's gonna get with us after his England euro showing and you know how Michael Edwards rolls bro

    We don't know that yet.

Slot being not so keen on squad rotation I mean.

he had what he had last year and rotated enough early on, then found out who he could rely on and stuck with them in his 1st season which brought us a title. Which for me makes sense.

What we do know tho is that he's a big fan of keeping players fit throughout the season, which we saw pay dividends in the last 15games this year as opposed to Klopps last one where we fell off in the final run through fatigue.

i agree on not being happy about Quansah but Slot clearly doesn't rate and or trust him so was inevitable .On Elliott like Sucky i just don't see a role for him

Some players don't mind sitting on the bench and playing a bit part, other players would prefer to play as much as possible, and if that means transferring to a smaller club, so be it.

I think it's the other one we're actually after, Tyler Morton.

If both Elliott and Quansah go think Morton may have to stay due to his HG / CG status even with Frimpong being HG <laugh>

Trophy wise he's off to a great start.

Minus the 130 charges of cheating, 2 bans for cheating as a player, and one of his old clubs paying refs while he was there.... Oh and slot has some actual coaching ability

when you look at it that way, he managed to win the league just spending a few mill on that Chiesa.

Cant think of any other manager spending less to do it…..

doesn’t mean the lad won’t move on, but will ensure we get a wedge for him.

    edit:
John Stones was great for us, this lad is better IMO.

Normally a team that spends just a few million to win the league end up relegated and bouncing up and down between the second division…….

    Hope that happens to Liverpool.
