I think he looks good defensively, he seems to carry a goal threat from corners and has good long range shooting much like Fabian Schar the player who he'd be replacing...
Now that Eddie's back in charge of transfers he can't complain about another failed transfer window because the DOF failed to buy any of his targets. He'll have to adapt quickly and make a incisive decision on some other targets that I'm sure Steve Nickson has drawn up for him when he finally realizes that the prem players he's wasted time trying to sign for years now are too awkward and expensive to get out of their clubs without breaking the bank and looking like mugs. We really need more players to fill out the squad otherwise we're gonna struggle to compete in the Prem/CL like last time.
The amount of players we’ve signed from the Championship is bordering on bizarre. Like I’ve said countless times our best players by some distance were all, bar none, recruited from the continent yet as of now we seem to be exclusively focused on the PL and Championship. All I ask is for someone to make some sense of it. Our last 7 failed player bids were all from the PL.
Well the latest links seem to be about Balerdi, Toposoba and Pubbil, who have maybe always been on the target list for all we know.
Pubill I can see, as it’s adding a sub and far from a priority which has been our MO for about 3 years. The other two look nothing like Howe signings, and I think are part of agents silly season to try and drive prices up.
