    Surely we could just swap Sinik’s wage for Barrie - I’m sure he would take the fortune we were paying him.

    The £3.5million fee would have been clear up front, so how could we get to this stage and suddenly realise that we couldn’t afford it??

    If it wasn’t leaked it would’ve been done. Alerted other clubs of the cheapness of the deal and others can probably pay double us in wages

    If we can’t afford the transfer fee and wages of one signing (who is a young player with not much experience), I don’t see how we’ll bring in 10 decent players this summer…

    I bet Barry’s agent has seen Acun’s comments in the Q&A and on Sky Sports saying he’s our number one target. Costs have now increased on the back of that. Acun should have played it down.
