It all cant be done on freebies/ out of contracts etc...........

we have a remnant of the 5 pillars plan whereby we sell to buy /get the books straight/ avoid ffp ...sell 1 good one to get a wad of cash and go another season. To do this we need to promote academy or buy in improve and double plus our money!!!!

cant see him going for less than £55m although if Brentford sell their player they could join the fray? ..................

 

The clubs view (SL’s ) was Januarys budget was spent last summer, to bring in Twine.

 

Why do we continue to bring in players that are not up to snuff? This has been happening for too many years not to be in our DNA and that's not good as we need players to thrive and stay at BCFC, but it will never happen? Giving it a second thought it would almost seem like there is a single culprit in our midst who hasn't got a clue how to pick decent targets for transfer, but I have no idea who that fraud may be - do you?

Happy with this signing but........until we sign another Basso we'll be treading water at best.

 

Wiz/Anyone, heard any news/rumours about another striker, 22yr old also Danish ?

 

This looks a good signing. He is big, strong and has Championship experience. Getting him on a free is a bonus.

 

At 27, Nahkis replacement I guess, not a young “punt”, which is our usual MO.

 

We need some experience to help guide and mentor the younger players, plus he’s affordable, so hopefully it works out.

had one good season !..... 21/22 when he netted 20 & played 49 times danish lge 11 in 37 games in other 6 seasons [31 goals in 86 games]
other 6 seasons 169 games and 33 goals!!!! HARDLY INSPIRING ..

 

He’s a proven goal scorer at this level. He’s in his prime years, his goals per game ratio is pretty good really, he’s certainly a step up from what we have at present and he didn’t break the bank,( bearing in kind we don’t have much of a budget).

Personally I think he’s a good purchase, obviously only time will tell, and any signing , especially a striker, is a risk, but a massive improvement on last year’s signings imo. I’m pretty enthused by this seasons business so far.
