Just took a look and it's a disgrace.

I honestly don't know why Roger keeps it going.

Hank has been banned for 2 months apparently.
Not for bullying, but being wound up and the same people running to the Mods reporting people then complaining about his mental health.

I'm glad I left.

 

He's welcome to do his footy on TV threads over here if he wants

 

I said a while back on here that I don’t think Roger has anything to do with it.

It's a shame. I loved that forum 10+ years ago. Heard about this place when the stuff happened with Smug and been on here since.

 

Went downhill when Laputian sadly left us. I occasionally look in but can't remember the last time I posted anything (not that I'm prolific anyway).

 

I was concerned by a person posting in the depression thread who said someone had been talking to them about their mental health, the poster was in a bad way and they wanted someone to do a welfare check on them.

I posted a general reminder to everyone that you shouldn't post details of PM conversations about mental health or ask people to do a welfare check on a public forum.

I do mental health volunteering and everything has to be kept confidential. I'm only allowed to tell someone else if I have serious concerns that the person is going to either harm themselves or harm others. Sharing details from PM's like that can cause more harm to the person who is suffering.

My post was deleted then a mod posted about rank hypocrisy and the people who had posts deleted should be ashamed of themselves.

I'm not ashamed of myself and I'm pissed off and angry about having my bum slapped in public over it.

 

And again everyone who posts over there knows who posted the original post and who's protected by rules that never used to exist

She rightly advised a poster not to disclose anything said to them in a personal message (it's personal) unless it's life threatening.

 

You did a fantastic job, you helped and advised those in need, but it put some people's nose out. You're trained, they're not, but they feel insecure at your superior knowledge.

I know, as well as many others what a wonderful kind hearted person you are and have always been.

I still remember our 10k Gateshead run when I ran passed you and shouted Hi and on the bib you had to state a reason for running, yours was a kind message, mine was for beer.

 

The worst bit is how a certain poster is allowed to wind people up, blatantly yet receives no warning.

It clearly targets popular posters and recieves support more than any poster I have seen in my many many years on the board.

The fact it can carry on with nasty, snide behaviour all to generate clicks shows what rtg has become and its such a shame

I mainly post on the minor boards now, not that I post very much

 

I post on the tv thread, the majority on there are really lovely people

 

She follows me around like a creepy puppet.

I have asked her not to post RAWA stuff. She keeps posting it for me. That's so annoying as it makes it harder for me to keep track of threads where I'm collecting information. It also doesn't have my RAWA tag on so all the people who have her on ignore will miss it and won't get the opportunity to add feedback.

Apparently I make her feel triggered by posting on threads she uses. She doesn't like me posting on threads like the depression thread or the Happy Tuesday thread (inane chat thread) etc.

If I post a new thread, she'll go and search for an old thread about it, bump that and then ask for my new thread to be merged into the old thread.

When I came second in the photo comp, she did a winners announcement post listing 1st and 3rd place and deliberately missed me off.

She claims to have contacts at the club who can sort problems out. Some people genuinely believe she works closely with the club.

She's constantly **** stirring stuff between various posters. Seems to revel in causing arguments and then sitting back watching it play out.

Eeeh that turned into a right rant - sorry! I've been bottling that up for ages as you can't say a single negative thing about her over there.

 

The post/mod you’re referring to is hilarious.

Talking about hypocrisy and how conversations should’ve been had privately then ending the post by calling people out and saying they should be ashamed.

 

Let it all out, we're here for you, like you're here for us. Rant, rant, rant. Then breath and relax.

To some posters on here might think I'm sucking up to you, I'm not. Over many, many years I have gotten to know who you are and what you've been through and what you represent and your unrequited help and sympathy to others.

 

Unfortunately this thread is rtg in a nutshell.

1 poster who can do no wrong, causes issues left right and centre with no comebacks.

Its not right at all
