It was excellent, fair play. Highlighted and underlined how gash last night's headliners were as well. Not great tonight yet, although my daughter likes Charlie xcx apparently! Was surprised Gary Numan is still able to walk tbh.
They made a really bid deal about her and I genuinely didn't have a ****ing clue who she is. Over sensationalised garbage.
Went in the shed earlier, have been doing a bit of gardening today, and there were four boxes of red from last summer. Two Rioja, and two of the Vielle Ferme that they sell in the boat. (Works out less than three quid a bottle on Brittany Ferries, supermarkets over here knock it out for around eight quid I think) We go away at again the end of the month, it's never lasted this long. I need to plough through that!
****ing rediculouse, music has always been a valuable way of getting opinion/views out to the world and that should never be erroded. People are grown up enough to make their own decisions on what/who to listen to and who to ignore.
It's main news as well on SKY. Apparently according to some MP whose name I didn't catch, I think it was a Tory MP, said it is normalisation of extremism. Anyway, I've posted it up on the war thread as well, so I don't drag this one down the gutter.
Whilst i somewhat agree with this i also think that drill **** should be banned so.... Maybe i don't fully agree
Presumably because it was armed forces day yesterday they had the cadet band march the congregation into church today . The homeless woman sleeping in the corner of the market place got a rude awakening when the big bass drum set off
Very disappointed with the Neil Young set. It's okay playing stuff off the newer albums when you're on your own tour but half that crowd didn't know half the songs. With hindsight it was a poor choice to headline, not enough fans there. That's not to say that it should all be the popular big bands or it'll change the festival altogether but you need someone who'll come along and play the hits in order to get the crowd going. Every time Young Played a hit you could feel the uplift and then it was back down again as another unknown song was played.
Been one of the poorest Glastos for me so far ... when the most engaging set has been Scissor Sisters I'm starting to question my musical tastes ... and sexuality
Watched pulp in 95 and in 98 they have been the act of the weekend for me, off to watch them at Tranlines in a few weeks. Will watch Rod later, but only to see who he gets on stage with him.
