I agree, not often on my playlist but totally unique and some unworldly tunes. He must've been unsignable when he started ... ... weird voice, weird songs, hard to look at, unpleasant nature and no dress sense. But strangely compelling.
So far my picks have been franz Ferdinand (seen em loads so I’m biased) Wet leg (the sheer energy of that lead singer !) John Fogerty (love CCR TO BITS) Amyl and the sniffers (Don’t hate me for this) Jade Pulp Busta Rhymez 1975 - I wanted to hate them I really did I need to watch some of the others still but feel free to recommend
They did a lullaby version of blue weekend and I’ve fallen asleep many a time to this. It’s just lovely
I'm loving the 'stoned hillbillies on a porch' set up ... ... any number of people could show up for an encore
****ing love Neil young But keep swinging between these tunes are brilliant but how can an 80 yeer old upstage all these you acts The mans an infuriating ****ing genius
Outstanding indeed and so many more he could've done. "There but for circumstance May go you or I .... "
It all feels a bit odd to me. Was Glastonbury ever meant to be mostly about acts that were popular 20 or many more year ago?
