It feels similar to ELF in the Championship. It's not a realistic proposition unless he's willing to do it for the gaffer.
Going to be very disappointed if we end up only signing Tommy Doyle, Carleta-Car, Tanganga and Jack Clarke again. Regardless think its time to sit back and enjoy the ride. I did say I wanted people in for the start of preseason as I put a lot of stock in a full preseason leading to a good overall season.
Feel like the Christmas grinch on here these days but I don’t 100% love head coaches getting quite so much power to select players they know for transfers. I know the talent and circumstance are different but we ****ing hated Moyes for doing this sort of thing.
Aye your point is valid but come on. French international midfielder. and we shouldn’t not sign him just because he once played for RLB. Could be all Ghisolfi
We have money to spend and FFP isn’t a problem but I will eat my hat if we sign both Diarra and guendouzi I’d rather guendouzi
It'll be a team effort these days, we will only sign players that KS, SH and the new guy rate - just a massive bonus if RLB really wants him
26yrs old 350+ games under his belt played in the top league in 4 countries plus international games If we can get him and get his head and heart into it we might be onto a winner Maybes an expensive one
David Moyes brought in lescott and pienarr we’re talking about a current French international and winger who just got top scorer in Serie B
That article translated to English says Lazio need to sell for financial reasons. Not necessarily Guendouzi, but it sounds like there could be possibility
Supposed to sign players to suit the head coach’s system. Keep that in the guidelines of the model and you’re good. He will be recommending these players KS said himself the other week our strategy will change in the premier league as staying up needs a lot more than our current model. that doesn’t mean we won’t be signing young talent
I have no idea who’s a genuine source these days other than Romano but this is so much more fun than picking up free’s from qpr isn’t it
You’re entitled to your opinion like mate but I think this is where realism comes into play if we actually want to stay up or maybe even compete and do better than that. nobody is saying no to a French international centre midfielder. That’s not the same as a pensioner Lescott and pienaar
Always rated Guendouzi. Cracking little player with a bit of finesse, who will also bite the heed of a bat in battle. He’s done ok in the Prem already and has massively improved since, playing for big clubs in big competitions. I’d endorse that one all the way. We haven’t really got an arsehole in the side and it’s good to have one.
Pinched from OTR He absolutely loves RLB iirc And vice versa Quotes from 2019 What might make Guendouzi different? A clue comes from Regis Le Bris, the academy director at Lorient, from where he joined Arsenal last year. “He has always been very cheerful and concerned with his relationship with the staff, and can be a sore loser – the game has always been a serious matter for him,” Le Bris, who remains in contact with Guendouzi, tells the Guardian. “With time he seems to better manage his frustration when he loses … although I am not completely sure of that.”
it’s not just any French international midfielder either - it’s the exact profile we’re missing in midfield. It fits completely
