My prediction is Rervers for the league leaders shield and Wigan for the Grand Final.

Took KR in the handicap at -16 points. A nice win at evens but they made hard work of the first half. They always seem to finish well and looking at the next five fixtures it appears only Leeds next is the one to fear. Then the big one, Wigan away. Regardless, a decent lead at the top of the league right now.

 

I think the difference this season is having a good reliable goal kicker, Good signing that Morgue.

 

Funny how things work out, they signed Martin to kick goals this season but he’s been injured for the last four months. Morgue was signed as emergency full back cover when their previous one left during the season, and took over kicking as a stop gap. Martin returned last night and didn’t get kicking duties back!

 

This is how I see it too, Rovers won’t drop enough games for Wigan to finish top, but Wigan are too good at peaking at the right time, they have a different mentality in the play-offs that Rovers don’t quite have yet.
