Currently watching Panama v Jamaica in the Conacaf Gold Cup and noticed that Steve MacLaren is managing Jamaica. I wonder if he's developed an accent. I can't wait for the interviews!
EFL fixtures are released tomorrow lunchtime. Who do you think we’ll get? Any preferences? I’ve got a feeling for Watford at home
Charlton will surely have asked for an away game for further time to work on the pitch. I'll go for any of the relegated 3 and we get pumped 5-0
I'll know the fixtures before you guys, they come out at 8am over here. I'll put them up once I know.
Two Saudi Arabian teams to meet in the last 16 of the FIFA Club World Cup... https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/c7847lydyrko The article begins "Are Man City back?"
Two months ago, Keith Andrews applied for the manager's job, at League Two MK Dons - he didn’t get it. He’s now appointed Brentford’s manager in the premier league. It reminds me of when I was turned down by a rotter once. This world can be strange
Substituted players will now be interviewed at the side of the pitch whilst the match continues. And camera operators will be allowed to enter the field of play to capture goal celebrations. Why not go the whole hog and film the players' communal bath at full-time?
Cameramen allowed on the pitch during a game for any reason is ridiculous. Players The referee Physios & medical staff (in case of serious injury) Nobody else has any business on a football pitch during a game. As for interviewing players just subbed? That's literally asking for trouble. Imagine all the stupid comments you'll get from frustrated players. Never mind the swearing. Endless cheap headlines in the gutter press. They should be microphoning up the referee & other officials, so we can hear the abuse they are subjected to.
