With players like Diarra and Bulka the worst case scenario for PSR is that you sell them for the same amount you got really. They're both young and have shown quality in previous seasons. (Well technically the worst case is two career ending injuries but let's leave that scenario alone)
Exactly model is VALUE both players will hold or improve value with a year in the prem (disaster individual season permitting)
Makes sense that we go for a few 'cheaper' targets as well - the Georgian CB would fall into this camp It is starting to heat up, hopefully get a scarf picture soon
2 loans from premier league isn’t it? Could be more in total. Would cover a gap whilst investing in quality.
I looked online and it says 'premier league clubs may not register more than two players on loan at any one time' Can loan 4 players in a season but only 2 at 1 time by the sound of it
Good point from someone on RTG - You don't go and get someone as respected as Ghisolfi from Roma and then go and chase Poku and Tommy Doyle, he's only coming here if he has funds to have a real go.
I don't want to be negative with all the buzz of the links (most im over the moon with) but I do hope we bring in some British talent as well I get there's better value abroad but hope we still keep a real British core to our squad
All about the structure of the deal for me, hopefully be plenty of performance related fees on that total
You would hope it's structured in a way that greatly suits us, he's very very nice to watch but don't think he brings enough fire power and I don't really like him defensively in a 3. He does however have so much room to grow and I expect him to be much better than he was last year.
And we've got Abdullahi to consider now he has got over his injury, settled in and hopefully have a good pre-season. Isn't it strange to be in a position where we are questioning bringing in a centre forward after all the years of asking when are we going to sign a one (with the oldest only being 24!!l).
