W88 but I've not seen any indication that its in the hundreds of millions. Seeing its a one year deal that would be insane and I reckon probably a world record
"Seems pretty positive" and fee's being talked about etc sounds to me it's just about getting the details tied up, payment structure etc
This is why, I’d say, we need bigger/better hospitality and it’s a knock on effect. The W88 people will want to enjoy the facilities and entertain guests. The more boxes, etc, the more guests and the more potential new sponsors/investors … … I’d like to see the SOL extended tbh, lots of good reasons to do that in my opinion.
I’m not up on ‘financial regulations’ … … would selling Patterson bring us in a lot of ‘tax free’ money.
Yep, I'd agree, the corporates are, whilst not my preferred way of watching the lads, very important and potentially lucrative. East stand in particular offers ready made option to extend within the existing footprint and it also makes sense to do South Stand on the back of the Sheepfolds. Sounds like Bruce has secured a belting sponsorship deal which is great news. Really encouraged by the links and ambition being shown in terms of transfers , if we can get a few of these over the line of a similar level to the Polish lad we will be looking a lot stronger than any of us dared to think we might be. KLD certainly isn't in take the money and build a championship winning side mode is he. Great to see and long may it continue.
Think he would go down as pure profit as he is homegrown from the academy. I think that's why the likes of Man Utd sold McTominay as the full fee is profit.
That's correct. Same with Elliott Anderson leaving the Mags. I can 100% see a scenario where we sell Patto and use some of the money to buy a new backup keeper to Bulka. Would personally equally be happy to see Patto stay and fight.
W88 it’s the biggest commercial deal in the clubs history estimated to be worth £230m massive deal absolutely massive mate
I’d be absolutely astonished if they’re paying us that mind. For one year? That’s almost double what we’re getting in tv revenue isn’t it?
Largest shirt sponsor deal in the world was Real Madrid getting 70m euros last season There is no way our sponsorship is £230m for one year. https://financefootball.com/en/2024/08/26/top-10-biggest-shirt-sponsorship-deals-2024-2025/
Tbh if it eclipses the Invest in Africa deal (although I always thought the reported finances of that were murky) then we’ve done brilliantly.
Genuine question, is it really that much. I'd heard on grapevine it was a cracking deal and well above Invest in Africa but if that sum is correct then Bruce has done brilliantly for us.
