You're hardly giving him a glowing accolade by saying he lost the ball 'almost every time',are you?

I always felt he was inclined to take on one man too many. Could be there was no-one available to pass to, or he didn't look up enough, we'll find out soon enough hopefully. But he isn't **** and he's no Belloumi.

The spelling of Millar is one of those, like Selles, that many phone keyboards will autocorrect to the more conventional spelling even if you type it correctly.

I read it,it's both interesting and very confusing in the big picture of things.

I think he's decent and if he comes back in good nick from his injury(not always guaranteed),I think he's got the ability to cause defences problems.Of course,I could be totally wrong.

Never know how a player will be after that type of injury
Especially players who thrive on explosiveness and fast turns
    Everything the knee hates

Not sure about Barry. The step up to championship is a big one and he appears very injury prone.
He looked neat and tidy while he was fit but I think he would be a massive gamble.

Giles put in the second most successful crosses into the box for us last season FWIW, with 11/60 in 10 games.

Coyle was first by a wide margin, with 33/166 so successful 1 in 5. I'd love to know how many of those were when he cut in on his left, cos it bet it isn't many.

Yes I am. Without the ' the word becomes players (indicating more than 1 player.) As far as I am aware we only have one player called Millar.

A fully fit front line of Barry, Belloumi & Mcburnie would be nice. Millar as a good option of the bench, not got the same quality as Belloumi but every time he got the ball he was direct and got us up the pitch.

I don’t think we saw the best of Millar as he never got a good run of games. His Canada trips meant Walter always played him on the bench the following game.

What I did see was someone who was quick and direct with the ball at his feet, defenders were terrified of getting caught too far up the field and the opposition often doubled up on him.

While this doesn’t always lead to goals it did put the opposition in a more conservative defensive set up and allowed us more space in the middle of the pitch - which unfortunately Walter didn’t want to play in.

I was about to quote this. He might have the impact of a Carvalho when played centrally.

Some players recover well from acl injuries and some struggle. I recall Shearer and Roy Keane both having acl surgery and coming back very strong. Before posting this, I googled Shearer's injury. It was a rupture but he played on and scored 2 goals that game after the injury. ****in mental.

Shearer had that immense technical ability and shot that enabled him to still be a top striker

It can be brutal for a winger
