The only awful thing about the championship is the hope of getting out of it, great league, great teams, some great football and stadia One of the most watched leagues in the world now And yet I hope we are not back in there any time soon
I will watch loads of championship games next season. Looks a fantastic league to me. Birmingham to so the double promotion.
Can't beat the Championship mind. What a league. You think you know what's going to happen before it starts. These three to go up, these five or six to contest the play offs. These eight or so to float around the middle. Easy! But last season, here comes Sunderland, uninvited, popping and fizzing into the room like a loosed off firework, upsetting the order of things. Almost every year one, or sometimes even two clubs do this. Bloody great! I'm saying Bristol City as a surprise package this year.
Some great opening fixtures there. If Ipswich keep hold of their players, they will probably finish top of the league at the end of the season.
