This sort of sums up the club world cup But I would argue that the South Americans are dominating so far. I think Tim (19:51) represents beautifully why this competition is so mis-represented in England, and maybe Europe. It’s not a national competition, it’s an inter-continental competition. I actually think the concept is a good one, but will always be hampered by Europe’s dominance on a world stage… and as a result we have a lot of arbitrarily entered teams based on ‘qualifying’ criteria which I defy anyone to understand! I think with a bit of tweaking it has the potential to be successful, and meaningful… but the proof will first be in how these teams get on back in their respective homes next season! I for one am looking forward to the knockouts! 19:51 I've watched a few of the games, but every time I ask myself "Why?". It is a non entity of a tournament. It would mean more if it was represented by the actual champions of each country, rather than a seemingly random collection of teams. Tim in Mundesley
