Where we finish in the league this coming season surely will depend on how succesful we are in acquiring one or two goalscorers.....we are nearly deviod at the moment to having anyone who can score regularly.....this must be a priority I would think.

The other area that we need strengthening is goalkeepers....having only one front line experienced keeper needs addressing.....for the back up to be only a young lad no matter how good he looks for the future needs sorting......I believe at present Conor Hazard is getting over an injury picked up on international duty.....Zak Baker at present is not ready to be thrown in at the deep end.

So how often have you watched Zak Baker play? He could be better than Cooper/Hazard and uncle tom cobley for all we know. Personally I admit to not knowing how good/bad he is as I've never watched him. I'm guessing your statement is a Pasoti fact.

Well we certainly need 3 keepers. One injured and one sent off and you’re in a right mess otherwise…..

So how often have you watched him play then? I suspect as many times as never. If as suspected then where else would you get an opinion on his prowess?

Zac Baker is 20yrs old and has not yet played for the first team.....for Tiverton 36 times.....Parkway once.....that tells me we probably need another keeper.....nothing to do with pasoti or having seen or not seen him play.....so just stop coming to your usual bias opinions.....and stop trying to stir up trouble.....which you seem to excel in.

.....And has moved on to be one of the best keepers in the Championship.

Zac Baker has gained no first team opportunities like Cooper did....if I recall being thrown in the deep end because of injury during an away game.

Playing at Tiverton and once for Parkway leaves a lot to be desired for Baker.....but hopefully his time will come.....but in the meanwhile we need a third keeper and with some league experience.....having only two keepers is never enough because of the chances of injury.

Not trying to stir anything. You miss the point as usual. You have collected some facts off Wiki probably but you have no first hand knowledge of how good/crap he is. Like a lot of Argyle "supporters" it is making a judgement about somebody who you wouldn't recognise if he fell on you in the street. Maybe, just maybe he would prove a revelation if given the chance. It is too easy to talk somebody down instead of trying to be positive. Lack of positivity is almost a given with Janners. How about for once turning that frown upside down?

Give the lad a chance, I agree. We do need another senior keeper though for the reason I gave.

What’s the point of building an academy and having coaches spread across the region if every time a youngster comes along, he’s written off before he starts?

The Sun newspaper is suggesting that St Mirren have sold 22yr old forward Owen Oseni to Argyle.

He has dual Irish and Nigerian citizenship.

According to the local Supporters Association, the contact between Cardiff City and the Bale consortium (the Bale bale) amounted to no more than expression of interest - a fishing expedition - by the latter and not actual negotiations.

This teaches you not to believe all you read in the newspapers or worse, on the internet. It’s also the very good reason why boards of directors don’t say anything until there’s actually something to say.

Been watching a video of him at Gatehead (Div 5 ?)....before he went to St Mirren....looks ok with feet and head at that level.

Turned out 10 times for St Mirren ONLY as a sub....so not sure how many minutes he got in Scottish Premiership.....but no goals scored.

They bought him in January and it seems that they will make a tidy little profit on him if he comes to Argyle.
