In that game I watched, he played 4-2-3-1. The two holding midfielders, Hodža and Selahi, were very physical. Both are number 6s but Selahi was playing as the more advanced of the two in that game. They were both very aggressive and covered a lot of ground. It was a stark contrast to Rosenior playing Seri and Slater/Morton together. That midfield had zero bite at all.
Brucey’s teams were always physical, as was Browns. We’ve looked weak as piss for the last few seasons.
Forgot to mention Marco Pašalić too. He joined Orlando City in February. He’s doing well there too by all accounts. Great at dribbling and what a left foot he has. Scored some absolute rockets for Rijeka and Orlando City. Seriously, watch his goal highlights.
