Good Morning. It's Monday 23rd June, and here are the latest headlines from Elland Road Leeds fans stay optimistic about Solomon Despite recent developments, Leeds United fans remain optimistic about the acquisition of Manor Solomon. The winger's future at Tottenham Hotspur appears uncertain, fueled by their signing of Mathys Tel for a reported £30 million, casting doubts on his Spurs future. Frank has stated that Solomon will be given an opportunity to prove himself during pre-season, but competition for places is fierce. The 26-year-old is currently on his honeymoon and scheduled to return for pre-season training in approximately two weeks. However, the ongoing conflict in the Middle East may present challenges in securing a flight from Israel. Leeds fans are keenly observing the situation with baited breathe. His pace, skill, and ability to play across the front line would undoubtedly bolster Leeds' attacking options, and chances of staying up. For now at-least, Whites fans can stay optimistic that Solomon could soon be a Leeds Utd player. please log in to view this image Whites will need Red Bull favour to land Gloukh Leeds United could find themselves at the heart of an exciting summer transfer window, with energy drink giants Red Bull potentially playing a pivotal role in the club's recruitment strategy. Known globally for their innovative and highly successful scouting system, Red Bull’s football network is uniquely positioned to influence the transfer market, particularly for clubs like Leeds that are keen to rebuild and strengthen their squad. Red Bull’s approach to talent acquisition is both data-driven and development-focused. They have built a reputation for identifying young, promising players and nurturing them through a clear pathway that links their youth academies, which is something that would massively benefit a club like Leeds! For the 49ers, this model is invaluable, especially in a key position they are desperate to reinforce - attacking midfield. Ever since Rutter's departure, the Whites have looked sub par creatively, opening the door for new upgrade. One standout target is Oscar Gloukh, the 21-year-old Israel international making waves in Austria with Salzburg—a core Red Bull club. Gloukh has demonstrated exceptional attacking prowess, both centrally and from the left, delivering an impressive 19 goals and 25 assists across all competitions last season. His proven ability to influence games at such a young age aligns perfectly with Leeds’ need for dynamic creativity. According to Sky journalist Philipp Hinze several months ago, Salzburg value Gloukh at around €25 million (£21.4 million), a price tag that has attracted interest from numerous top European sides. Amid this competition, Leeds supporters are hopeful that the connection with Red Bull can smooth the path to securing the talented midfielder. Given the intertwined nature of Red Bull’s football operations and Leeds’ ambition, there’s a strong chance these negotiations could lean in Leeds’ favour. As the summer transfer window unfolds, all eyes will be on Leeds to see if they can capitalise on this strategic link. If they manage to bring Oscar Gloukh to Elland Road, it will not only enhance their creative options but make a statement that the 49ers are looking beyond Premier League survival, and are building firm foundations for the future. please log in to view this image
Morning all, some exciting names being linked, you can't help feel we are gearing up for a lot of early July announcements
Waiting for that first domino to proper fall. Just hope theres not gaps. If Soloman wants to stay at spuds and have a go we need to look past him. We cant play 2nd choice we are in the same league now. his heart is obviously not with us as we all thought. But god knows wgat was said or is true.
So, this time next week, we’d expect a lot of signings tomorrow (all lined up already, though?). It would certainly be true of the 49ERS transfer activities to not even know who we’re signing apart from the free agent we signed. I bloody hope so. Morning all btw!
Give the man a break. He has a new manager who wants a look at him. And he’s on his honeymoon - in Israel
Afternoon all. TalkSPORT saying Southampton have agreed to let Aaron Ramsdale go out on loan. We’d be mad not to try to bring him in. Apparently that scum side in turkey are also interested.
He wants an England place but wants to play for Southampton, they were exploring a way to insert a buy back clause should they win promotion straight back, he said he is settled in Southampton and his family are happy there With all that in mind I can't see him coming to us on loan or being committed enough, I bet they/him are hoping for a London based team to take him
That’s crazy if he’s not taking a drop with relegation, I’m surprised Southampton don’t cash in on him. They were awful last season, fortunate to get promoted in the first place, Sheff U, Ipswich, Birmingham on a role, Wrexham with money to burn, Coventry fancying their chances, Southampton are by no means certain to go back up
here we go the first proper Domino has fallen. Like the look of Jaka looks a unit something we have lacked for a while. Welcome to Leeds and the best club in the world kidda.
Wait till he meets his team Mates. He’ll think he’s looking at a scene from Snow White and the seven dwarfs
think we should just go out and spend spend spend. as the aftereffects of it won't matter as we all gonna be deed in a year or so anyway with how the world is going lol.
Just a point of order while we have a summer of guessing in front of us. Red Bull are not a drinks company, they are a marketing company that purchased a drinks brand
