A year ago today we hired a wonderful French man to be our new coach after waiting over 100 days after sacking the worst manager we’ve ever had.
Did he create history by becoming the first foreign manager to gain promotion to the Premiership in his maiden season? Remarkable whatever. A nice guy to boot.
We’ve come a long way from ‘who?’ No matter what happens going forward, we will always have that playoff run, and those memories, what he’s achieved has financially cleared the club for years. Thank you Régis. Thanks for the class you’ve shown, thanks for the Premier League, and thanks for the redemption. You’re alreet mate
He seems a really sound bloke, which is possibly some of why he's done so well. He far exceeded my expectations. This was a pivotal achievement, we all know how hard it is to get up without parachute payments, to be the " third " team. He will always be one of us.
Brilliant that. Still pisses me off though the way Wilder barges into the celebration, totally classless.
At Wembley? He was one of the majority who went straight down the tunnel (didn’t even acknowledge their fans), so probably wanted to get the handshake quickly done with before most of their fans noticed he quickly legged it. Probably knew his time there was done and was pissed off. Still poor though, I agree.
Watch as soon as the Final whistle goes. watch the way he stomps over to RLB & Hhis team and how he yanks them apart
