    At the beginning of time rowntrees did fruit pastels and fruit gums, a three penny packet and a sixpenny packet.
    The sixpenny fruit gums were extra special as they came with a dent in the back of the gum but sometimes you got a yellow one with a smooth back that seemed to last forever.

    Starburst, skittles or wine gums for me.

    Coconut bon bons, chocolate limes or sherbert lemons if I'm in a traditional sweet shop.
