Agree. One of those things that leaves me puzzled as to how anybody can enjoy eating it. They say peoples tastes buds can be significantly different to one another. Licorice is the proof as far as I'm concerned.
My kids went nuts for some sweets we bought at Beamish. Sugar mice I think they were called. Basically just pure sugar
I second this. Absolute staple classics. Not a massive sweets kid like, missus orders massive jellies tubs off Amazon for the gaff.

Licorice all sorts Wine gums Sherbet Dip (either with licorice or the candy stick dipper) Fruit pastels Chocolate covered peanuts and raisins Rum truffles And a boring, but stable classic. Trevor extra strong mints. Friend of the coffee/lunchtime pint drinker.
