    Totally underwhelmed.

    JL & GS' words were rehearsed and incredibly predictable.
    Now we await transfers, in and out.
    Knight and Atkinson leaving will be no surprise......it's hard to look forward with any hope.

    RP - I don’t think Struber will have much say in the transfers. I’ve said this before and I stand by it; the ‘Head Coach’ has to work with the tools he’s given.

    I am aware of your reasoning.
    And yes I agree.
    Where we differ is it was massively (65) different under Ashton and Junior. It was a scatter gun approach approved by SL and SL has said numerous times since he's 'done that approach and won't be going down that failed route again'.

    I respect your opinion RP.
    I would however, offer Ryan Kent as an example of someone LJ didn’t want, didn’t play (hardly) and was ‘forced’ on him.
    Maybe.
    We’ll never know - until the book is published…. <cheers>

    Over on OTIB the fans are overwhelmingly happy with GS's appointment. I do hope their positivity is rewarded and my disappointment is misguided.

    A genuine question, why are you disappointed?, who did you want and why?,

    I can’t say anyone stood out particularly for me, but from what I’m reading this guy does seem to bring on youngsters, so our academy may start to bear fruits again, and he does seem a bit more positive in his approach. I have to say I did find Manningball extremely monotonous at times.

    I’m back on the fence now - with splinters in my bum.
    I’ll see how the first 10-12 games pan out.
    Also, I’ll see if we sign anyone that can be attributed to Struber rather than BT.
