SOME MILLWALL FANS are worse than disgusting full stop. so it would not surprise me at all if it were true. I would not be surprised at all if Ant Gerrard was not in touch wiv city this week to give them some upto date facts on the lions players etc.
Go on, explain to me? Singing as a man lays dead because, as was used by way of justification at the time, you're a little bit jealous cos there was no such tribute for Revie is just fookin' pathetic. Leeds fans have the very least of all justification to complain about opposition fans showing lack of respect to the dead. With regards to Gary Speed, a man has died - the same as Munich and Matt Busby - and any songs about it are wrong. I'm not justifying the alledged signing of Millwall fans, I'm saying you getting on your high-horse about it is almost comedic in its irony. Have you ever heard songs from us about Galatasary?
By those involved I mean those who were doing it, which I imagine if they were would be a minority. If you think i'm tarring all Millwall fans with the same brush i'm not. Everybody has their opinion on Speed and the circumstances surrounding his death which is fair enough, but for the sake of those still grieving or affected by his death it seems rather callous to be chanting stuff about it (if the chanting DID happen) only 2 weeks after Speed's death.
What do you mean Erik? Why wouldn't he pass on information that might help one of his teams promotion rivals? Makes perfect sense. Only in the world of The French Tickler or 'friend to the stars' as I call him. You'd struggle to make it up.
and this from one of those 20 000 in the Circle that day who were all singing about bombers and QPR!!!! well I read it in the National papers so it must be true. The National (London) papers will not even give this rumour the time of day I am afraid
I never took part in such chanting, like most things it was a minority of idiots. And I never said what happened at Millwall V Cardiff yesterday actually happened, just reporting what I'd heard form several sources last night (not the most reliable I grant you but it seemed to be a rumour gathering momentum).
No, our fans were merely getting even with the FA by returning the disrespect they showed to the Don. Should they just have gone 'oh well it's just one of those things isn't it hahahaha let's remember a PROPER legend in Busby', and taken it? Nah, that's now how Leeds fans do things. I'm not getting on my high horse about anything so you're talking ****.
Hardly a surprise that Millwall sang some songs like that. It's what they do. Additionally, we have been known to sing some of our own bad taste songs (I think QPR has already been mentioned on here). It happens. You could ignore it, join in or you coul shout at them to shut up, depends how you feel. But it won't stop it happening. 3 one-minute-silences would be irritating though, so you could see why Millwall would be irked.
"Friend to the stars" and their Dads dont forget their Dads. I think he sits them all down in one big group-" Are you ALL loving it here?"
