New fixtures out tomorrow! At least we can start day dreaming about who we'll be winning the title against after 28 games, planning Christmas travel around where we will be and when you fancy the newly promoted teams etc. Who do you want: First game: Boxing day: Last home game: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/crrqllv5j02o
First game: Durty Leeds Home Boxing day: Durty Makems Home Last home game: Durty Everton (again) Home
First game: Mackems (H) Boxing Day: Leeds (H) Last game: Mackems (A) with them having to form a guard of honour for the recently crowned champions
First Game: Sunderland (ruin their season straight away) Boxing Day: Sunderland (ruin their holidays) Last home game: Liverpool (title decider)
Expecting a tough start as they tend to pair us with fellow champions league teams before the competition gets under way. First Game: Aston Villa (Away) Boxing Day: Leeds (Away) Final Game: Brentford (Home)
Typical, start away vs Villa, day after Boxing Day away vs Manu and then finish away vs Fulham Mackems in mid December away and home in March…
December into January is going to make or break the season. 10 winnable games in a row (depending on which version of Man Utd show up) at a time the Champions League is winding down.
Tbf you'd expect 4 so it's not a huge issue. I'm hoping the one before Sunderland is a home game as we'd then play home (league), home (cl), away (sunderland), home (league) and despite have 4 games in succession there'd be no travelling.
Be an interesting start - you'd hope for 10-12 points from the first 5 which would put us in a decent position to start (we had 10 points last season and sat in 6th at this point).
