Missed out these puppies, although might not be familiar to many the ginger ones are staple fare in our gaff esp around Christmas. The beauty of these is you can go naked dunking, splash out with a bit of cream n jam, slice of apple , bit of chutney or even go full savoury with a nice blue cheese…. Or whatever damn cheese you like. please log in to view this image
This thread is brilliant. Just had to explain to my good lady why I laughed out loud and nearly spat drink out after reading the last page and a bit. Can I add that dark chocolate does not and never will belong on a chocolate digestive
yeah, I don’t think dark chocolate suits a digestive. A liebnitz, yes. Or a Bendík’s mint thin… yum yum Has anyone mentioned the dead fly classic - a garibaldi ! I actually like them although the fruit shortcake was always more palatable to a young sweet-toothed consumer. Lincoln’s and Nice biscuits as well. Plain but flavoursome
Disturbing that folk who think it does walk amongst us. I swear reading that gave me chills. I thought I heard screaming in the room, then I realised that screaming was me. Wackos mate.
I’m genuinely disturbed mate. I have questioned my own existence the lot since reading that. Be making brews with sparkling water next.
"Should you serve milk or lemon with tea? Well that would depend on the tea" (Sir Leigh Teabing - 2006). "Dark chocolate on biscuits, well that would depend on the biscuit" (Me, just now) Dont care what you heathens say, dark choc hobnobs are way better than normal hobnobs, and dark choc digestives are better than milk chocolate.
You really can't beat a Jaffa cake in my opinion, i know people will say it's a cake, bugger it best thing ever with your cuppa
"Dont care what you heathens say, dark choc hobnobs are way better than normal hobnobs, and dark choc digestives are better than milk chocolate." I take my hat off to you sir, a true connoisseur!
