Isn't that a bit like saying that all professional full backs should be comfortable playing left back or right back. I firmly believe that a right sided center back is best as RCB, and a left sided center back is best at LCB But then I also think all right wingers should be right sided and all left wingers should be left sided.
Well no it’s not like fullbacks because they’re playing in the centre of the pitch not wide, just like central midfielders can be either right or left footed.
If you play a central role like centre back, centre midfield or striker then it really shouldn't matter which foot you prefer. Its a modern thing all this left sided and right sided centre halves. It's nonsense. Ive not heard anyone saying we should play Gruev on the left side of central midfield and Ampadu on the right side of central midfield.
