    We just need the away supporters to step up and our average will look really healthy.

    Just as the media do with Newcastle we can claim there are 40,000 screaming Mackems every game ...

    ... does the media actually quote gates other than Newcastle btw, if they do I must be missing it.

    Fair play if they do tbh.

    Sunderland isn't the easiest ground to get to, or away from for that matter.

    The Metro, afterwards, is a shambles, and the trains to Newcastle aren't frequent enough.

    The club is putting pressure on but it needs sorting ...

    ... away fans going to Newcastle find it much easier.
