We really are doomed if we don't quell mass immigration. All public services are at breaking point and will simply combust if this current situation continues much longer. The welfare state is being abused at a catastrophic level. Housing, hospitals, schools, prisons - all gummed up with migrants. Yet there are still simpletons defending the surge. The mind boggles.
Without a valid reason everyone should work. Never been against that. Due to Brexshit we no longer get temporary migrants from the EU, we've now got long term ones from the RotW. ER's generation need looking after. I'm not 'defending the surge'. I think you're attacking the wrong people. This country is ****ed from 14 years of Tories, not boat people.
The Tories were a disaster, agreed. Labour will not stop the boats. Reform would bottle it. That's why we are heading for civil unrest. People are sick of seeing their taxes fritterd away on migrant-related costs. We already have enough unproductuve people, yet the surge continues unabated. Countless billions are being wasted on people we don't need and who we didn't ask for. I don't blame the migrants for coming here, especially those from utter hell-holes; I blame the so-called powers for letting them in in such large numbers. It is madness personified.
Are the billions spent on boat people insignificant? Are you honestly happy for your taxes to be spent on housing illegals?
The whole sorry mess is poor. Successive governments have failed miserably. As soon as this started, camps should have been built. Instead, billions are being poured down the drain. Any taxpayer happy to foot the bill for this ****show is insane. There should be a special tax on morons who are content to pay for illegal migrants. Leave the rest of us out of it. I recently received some treatment at a clinic in Essex. The team was made up of fine people from Nigeria, Zimbabwe and Ethiopia. I couldn't have asked for better care. They were everything you would want from migrants. So no, I don't hate migrants. But I severely dislike those who come to take the piss - and there are many of them, sadly. I'm short, retain the good and remove the dross.

14 years of ideologically driven Tory austerity, on top of 40+ years of neo-liberal global capitalism, is what’s left our public services at breaking point. Immigration is a tiny part of that problem, and when you consider that most immigrants work and pay tax, you have to ask, who is driving this divide and rule narrative? The same global capitalist oligarchs, Farage and co very much included, who created the problem in the first place. Don’t fall for it ffs.
So, millions of migrants, mostly low-skilled and unneeded, are a tiny part of the problem? Deary me. Public services and the welfare state are gummed up with inactive migrants. Why the hell are we paying for the world's dregs? We have enough of our own malefactors and scroungers to deal with, let alone importing them. And no, I don't hate all migrants. I've lived most of my life amongst foreign-born folk and have cherished the friendship of many. More than a few of these fine people have expressed alarm at how rapidly their communities are changing. I do believe it is you who has been duped. It's sad really that you are prepared to allow the destruction of this nation just so that you can cling onto some bizarre ideal. Fact is, multi-culturalism has failed catastrophically. Controlled immigration is fantastic, whereas mass migration brings myriad issues. Civil unrest is lurking round the corner. I still like you, bud.
